On the canals

Nice leisurely holiday.

That's one of my dreams, to take a canal boat holiday.

It is certainly very peaceful, you don't or can't rush things as your limited to keep to a certain speed. My parents sold their house, business and car to purchase their boat. They live on it all year round and I must say it is very cosy and has all mod cons. The only down fall is Mum doesn't have her garden anymore but she does have tubs on the boat that she keeps perfect. I keep telling her that she now has one huge garden (the country side) and the beauty of it is that she doesn't have the back breaking digging any more.

Sounds like an ideal life.
