When I moved to this new flat, I had an Ikea Billy unit that I had no room for - it had been cut more or less in half to fit the old place. I saved it with the intention of making it an outside work table. As the heights weren't equal, I couldn't just lay a bit of wood on top; I had to saw bits off one end to get it to fit into the space - more or less! I can't saw straight, but it's amazing what you can do with a hammer

thank you *s* comes of being a Cub Leader for 18+ years - never thow anything away until I've thought, what can I use this for? for a week at least. And then *g* think of a use the day after I've chucked it!
