Lovely garden ornament...when the flowers are established it will fill it in nicely. Do you not have any problems with thefts in your area? I couldn't do anything (even if I had the space) to put anything valuable in the front of our property...it would go walking very quickly!

You have made such a lovely job of revamping your front garden, Karen....you'll enjoy the freedom of not having to mow that patch of grass.

Yes, they are violas! I do sometimes think...'what if' Whistonlass, but this is a very low crime area indeed. In fact a lot of the locals don't even lock their doors! Where we lived in Dundee, before we moved here, there were occasional murders only two streets away! And yet it was lovely and peaceful where we were. I did think about placing him at the back, but I decided he looked at home in the front! Hopefully he will be left alone to grow his fleece! :)

Thanks homebird. It is a lovely area really. It is certainly a very nice quality of life in this town....south west facing lovely clean beach, easy access to Dundee and Aberdeen, great roads, easy access to the glens.....yup, I don't really have much to grumble about!

Whenever I see a ram I think of Derby. Lovely unusual ornament. The close where we live is very nice and the people all chat to each other.
