Hosta "White Feather"

That is a gorgeous thing! I rather like the off-white colour.

I'll keep an eye out for your photo. I think the flowers of Hostas are often underrated.

thanx sticki!! I am totally surprised by it this year, previous years it had very white but weak looking new leaves, then as the plant went thru the season, its later growing leaves reverted to boring green!
the flower spike looks interesting - v pale lilac...should be able to take a pic soon!

Very nice, seen this one for sale and wondered if it reverted to green, I've had a variegated one this year (can't remember name)thats sent up a set of leaves that are nearly all white just a few green flecks, think I'll try and seperate it and see how it developes.

Well, think Hosta "white feather" peaked a few weeks ago.....don't know how to put a foto on this msg, sorry, have put (sad & sorry-looking!) up-dated foto on my page....and yes, simbad - the new leaves are GREEN!!!!
Bernie, the flower was also cream - but the browning edges are not attractive!
Oh well, there's always next year....!!

Latest - "white feather"... is so much worse than before :-(
My only consolation at the mo is new (healthy!) green growth....altho the original 'cream' leaves & flower stalk are a mess of weak/browning foliage - yuk!!
oh well, it was such a fab plant, enjoyed it for a coupla weeks....!! :-)

have put latest foto of hosta 'white feather' on my page - bit more encouraging...but it obviously had its '15 minutes of fame' a month ago!! like I said - always next year!! :-)
