Queen of Nights Tulip.

That a gorgeous colour tulip lovely planting.

Now i had about half a dozen of them 2yrs ago then last year none came out, then this year these 2 came up.

Did you put grit beneath before planting as Andrew advised me to do as if weather gets too wet the bulbs rot.

I always put gravel at bottom of all pots

Are these in the ground did you put in the ground too grit.

No i did'nt put grit in first and they are in the ground.

Andrew said put grit in ground too before planting for drainage then when the winter with lots of rain it won't rot the bulbs.

i'll do it next time, there again my other bulbs are ok.

So are most of mine Clarice but in future I shall have grit put in.
