TT the pots i got from poundstreatchers, Tilly and Jack where terrified with all the banging and drilling etc, Sandra its great as for finding anything in my kitchen i keep going in wrong cupboards everytime as i had 2 new units put in aswell, to be honest today i've been swopping places today first sitting in kitchen as its a big kitchen dinner, then i'd go and sit in garden looking at new patio, could'nt make my mind up where i wonted to sit. :o))lol

lol carol, its been so sunny to, bet it was lovely, iv lost two fish carol, think either a heron or magpie :o( so when i have chance will get a couple more, poor fish is on his own now.

19 Apr, 2011

I feel so sorry for the fish when they get took by birds, everytime these start to come to close to serfice i try and make them go down to bottom, would'nt like the magpies to take these like they took Flip & Flop.

19 Apr, 2011

its hard to watch them all the time carol, i was about the day they went but dont remember seeing a heron about and nothing disturbed, so think a magpie or seagull, lots of them about at the moment.cant put a net because of the fountain and plants stuck up, will have to think about what i can do to help protect them.

19 Apr, 2011

I find its hard to put a cover over with our fountain we have, there are alot of magpies around got a nest in one of the trees near to me, infact its the same nest where my two fish landed in last year.

19 Apr, 2011

oh no carol, hope your fishies are ok this time, i was upset when i first noticed, even now i keep hoping they are there when i go look.

19 Apr, 2011

Tell me about it, this is one reason i've not given these names as i think its harder still, as they are more like a proper pet with names. Is GOY abit slow again or is it my laptop.

19 Apr, 2011

your right carol and yes its slow tonight, taking ages to view things and comment

19 Apr, 2011

Tell me about it puts me off when its slow like this, taking forever to get through everyones photos.

19 Apr, 2011

i feel like that to carol, get fed up and end up logging off which i will be very soon, cant be bothered waiting so long hahah

19 Apr, 2011

That makes 2 of us

19 Apr, 2011

I bet Tilly and Jack are pleased the work is all done :o)

19 Apr, 2011

That looks a lovely seating area, Clarice. Had to laugh at you keep changing places, you must have been a proper fidget bottom :)

20 Apr, 2011

Gee, yesterday & today have been lovely up here so had both patio doors wide open, and its been like the garden is part of the kitchen now, as when there open the garden like comes in the kitchen. TT both of them are really pleased its all quite here now. :o))

Sounds great, Clarice. That is one complaint I have about my bungalow, my living rooms are at the front so can't sit and look out into the back garden. I would love a conservatory but my premium bonds need to be selected by Ernie first :)

21 Apr, 2011

Have to admit i had to save for quite awhile to get this done, i'm one of those that if you can't afford to pay for it, then you go without, saving now for a new front door as that is not double glazed, and when we had all that bad weather in December, i could'nt get out as the door kept freezing up, plus my back gate was frozen aswell, there again was'nt that worried at being trapped in as it was so cold outside and i am useless at walking when its icey outside :o))

21 Apr, 2011

I'm the same as you, Clarice, if I can't afford it I go without :)

21 Apr, 2011

Best way, i dont owe a penny to anybody, and if i did i'd never be able to sleep :)

21 Apr, 2011

looks lovely Clarice,

22 Apr, 2011

Looking lovely, Carol, are Jack and Tilly confused when they come through the catflap into a longer room now? lol! You must be really pleased with the new look? Perfect for the Spring and Summer . . . . .

22 Apr, 2011

Shirley the kitchen extension itself i had done about 15yrs ago, its only the old lean to porch thing i've had knocked down and then i put the deck tiles down myself, before Tilly and Jack had 2 catflaps to come through one in the porch thing and the one you can see in the patio doors, so they where use to coming in the kitchen, think they like the idea of only one catflap instead of two to get in, i love it without the porch thing on.

23 Apr, 2011

Ah, all making sense to me now! I don't dare have a catflap as I know just how many creatures would be in the kitchen, courtesy of Megan ... lol!

23 Apr, 2011

Hi Shirley, if you look at these photos you will see i put a photo with the old porch on then one when it was knocked down, and this one when it was complete after i put decking tiles down, i dont have the catflaps that all the cats can get in, i have the magnetic ones and Tilly & Jack have to wear a magnet on their collar, i've had these cat flaps since Smokey was young so thats 19yrs ago, and never had another cat come in yet, they are dearer than the others but well worth it, on saying that i thought Tilly was never going to learn how to use it, both Smokey and his Brother Bandit had no problems with it, nether did Jack, but Tilly it took her ages, as they do have to work abit to get it open.

23 Apr, 2011

I see what you mean now that I've looked at all the pics ... it's looking so much nicer now! Like the decking tiles too. Pleased Tilly finally got the hang of the catflap ... lol!

23 Apr, 2011

;o)). Tilly sometimes she still as problems, think its when she gets her paws in the way of the magnet, bless her.
