The front grass is Marestail and the back one....can't remember, it's in erricaecious sp? soil and when it flowers it's so pretty and a wonderful bright green! The rest of the year it's a bit boring!
How great to find ferns GM, wonderful plants!

We have one grass like the bright green - either stipa tenuissima or deschampsia flexuosa - the latter looks correct - it does need acid

I MUST one day sort through all my care cards. I tried to buy a folder today with clear pages so I can log all my plants! But they only had 10 page polders....not enough!!

I love this happening, plants for free. I have just found seven ferns growing in concrete and now they have a nice shady nook!
