Large yellow flowers . I was given babies from the main plant 14 years ago . Now mine produces many of these now and are quite easy to propogate.

My neighbour has a tree peony & last year I noticed two or three seedlings in my garden near her fence. They are still there this year & looking quite healthy. I wonder what they will be like as they seeded themselves. Have you has some from seed Rose?
I believe they take a long time to flower though, so I shall have to be patient!! I shall nurture them!

I got the tree peony seedlings from a couple I worked for 16 years ago and nurtured them. Out of the six I got only this one survived . I kept potting it on until it was in a good sized pot and it has been in this garden for 13 years now, so yes Shirlwirl, you will have to be patient. I think its been flowering now for about 7 years but I'm not sure. Hope this helps.

Well, Shirl, my aunty was still gardening in her 80's so I'm sure you have many many years yet to see it in flower. Gardening keeps you young!
