Dawnsaunt, for the party, I'll not bring the drumkit might be a bit loud, shall I bring a Guitar and we can have a singsong? I nominate Karensusan for the first song!
Lol! Very good Lulu!

How about a Shamanic drum!!
8 May, 2011
Is that the same as a Boran drum Lulu? They sound brilliant!
8 May, 2011
Bring whatever you like girls.
Sandra: We set a mixture of mainly native trees, set them in blocks by species so we have: larch, hornbeam, beech, corsican pine, betula, oak, red oak, alder, ash, goats willow, willow and field maple, I think that's it, love them all :-) Dotted a few mountain ash in and crab and then we have an mini orchard, plum, apples pears, the usual oh and a peach.

thats great Dawn. its great planting trees gives me so much satisfaction...how long ago did you plant it?

Helenium, the Boran is played with a double ended stick and is quite difficult! The shamanic drum is like a large tambourine but without the bells! Great for banging and dancing!
9 May, 2011
I thought the Shamanic drum might be just another name for the Boran! My friend plays the Boran and gave me lessons which I didn't keep up! I bet the shamanic drum sounds really good Lulu!
9 May, 2011
Played it for the first time last night! It was great fun. May play a bit in Davids new band!! Eeeks!! Learning the way a song is actually played is a new one on me, and an out of beat drummer gets beaten by the band!!
I love the Boran though, it's my favourite kind of drum and played well it's just superb!
So today....I got sore feet and knees from jumping around to the drumming and a sore head from the wine!

Do you have a mower that you sit on to cut your grass.
9 May, 2011
Hi Sandra, set them in 2002, like you say, so satisfying setting tiny sticks and seeing them grow.
Helen/Lulu. How musical you both are :)
Carol, yes we have a ride on mower, thankfully

Good Luck Lulu, just you tell them.. the drummer is the band!!!lol!
