It is very satisfying to see something respond to a little TLC so quickly.

It will not go thirsty again TT. It has rained all day. Even when the sun shone the rain kept falling. Typical Election Day weather here in Scotland. My other Brunnera has green leaves with a silvery look so I am very pleased to see the cream band around the leaf.

Please send me some rain... I like the leaf colours ..
Nominated for GoYpedia "Variegated leaves" :o)

Thanks TT. I think the UK as a whole is going to have some of our Spring showers. The gardens are desperately in need of water. I got a water butt just before this dry spell and i blamed OH for putting the rain off. He washed my car yesterday so he got blamed again, but also a big thank you. I will need to prise the reduced label off the original label to see if this is Hadspen Cream. There is a Variegata but it has the cream inside with a green bordered leaf. See the garden centre ads on the right. Crocus at the top and Burncoose at the foot of the column.

I got the label off and all it says is variegata. I had no idea there are at least 8 different Brunnera including a glorious white flowered version 'Betty Bowring'. Having done a bit of research I am now leaning towards 'Dawsons White'. I will allow it to recover some more and maybe get a shot with some of the new flowers I can see developing
