Hi Youngdaisydee, No it's perfectly hardy but very slow growing.

I can't believe that Araucaria is twenty years old.

Why not, Bluespruce? Is it too small or too large?
I brought it from the previous house I lived in and it was only a few inches in height then. That's 22 years ago. It has grown very slowly.
