Lovely picture, I've never looked too closely at them either(very pretty) and we have 2 huge ones in our garden with preservation orders on them, finding seedlings everywhere at the moment from a very busy squirrel,lol.

lol i have that problem but with acons and little oak trees ~ i've been walking past this one for years until i stopped to look...
