I've no idea what the flowering plants are but seems a shame to be at the back of the garden out of the way..

Oh and thanks Clarice, i may have made a mistake with it in the autumn because i cut it back a bit and now its mainly long branches..

Hi Bill, you should cut out a few of the older stems on the weigela to ground level and cut back the flowering stems to strong growing shoots on the stem after flowering if you wish.
