this is the 3rd year have white to and again not as big this year, i think they opened to quick with the early sun this year, but still lovely, shame you have been unlucky with yours

I love them looking so healthy too!, I have some I planted in spring but not near flowering yet, but Im just so pleased they are surviving as I plant them every year and the slugs devour them, so looks very promising this year;0)

Looking great again this year, Sandra. Smaller flower spikes might suggest that they would benefit from being divided up and transplanted. At the end of summer, dig up the whole plant(s), and separate the crowns with a sharp knife, ensuring that each crown has good roots. Replant them immediately. By next Spring they should be growing well. :-)

you need the seed heads as they die back then i would save the seed till about Jan/feb and then put the seeds in seed trays

hi david and thankyou for the addvice i will certainly do that :o))
i tried doing seeds carol and no matter what plant i end up with nothing but dust lol, i havent had any good seeds off anything yet, and even if i got some i dont have to room under cover to grow anything, thanx anyway :o)

Seeds take a few years, Sandra - go for the division at the end of this summer, and expect flowers next year!! X
