Pink lilac

I don't usually see lilacs in this shade of pink and it is especially pretty in a group with lavender and bluish colored lilacs

I know people in the southern US wish they could grow lilacs like we can in the north. There are more lilacs now that will grow in warmer climates though. Can you grow lilacs in the UK? I don't know any serious US gardeners who aren't jealous of what you can grow over there, there are some beautiful gardens over there!
