Thank you, it is so pretty, and the very pale pink rose has got dozens of flowers on it, thanks to your advice last year Michaella, I laid down the branches and tied it in and it sprouted new shoots all over.

Blooming lovely Olive...love the lupins...I'm having problems finding the right spot in my Garden for Lupins to grow, I have two at the moment, but they never amount to anything much..so I'll just have to keep trying different places. I'm going to look through your pics, I haven't seen the new piece that you designed late last years results..

Was that the rose border, unfortunately, the rabbit has got in and destroyed some of the roses I planted, think they might just survive, fingers crossed. There are some pictures of it somewhere on here.

For 32 years Hywel, it wasn't like this when we moved here, just a grass field and an old cottage with no flowers or plants, I have slowly dug out grass and made borders, the cottage is older as we all are, but the garden is new, about 15 - 20 years now I have been changing it slowly. The poor man (now deceased will probably be turning in his grave) he laid the grass and turned it into a putting green for himself. No golf for me. I like my flowers too much.lol:o)

That can go on a postcard picture, cottage perfect!
First thing I've done in my garden here was removing the grass :-)

Always good! The only grass in my garden is the one that creeps under the fence from the neighbours gardens (a sore point actually..)

We have no neighbours so that is not a problem, the only problem we do get is weeds blowing into the grass field and seeding themselves from a Council owned piece of land that they do not look after. Going to complain this time if it happens to grow again (I am sure it will) Ragwort, which should be controlled by them, it was covered last year and they did nothing with it. It is supposedly dangerous to animals and they are obliged to remove it. It blew its seeds over into our field and it has been an absolute pain to remove it.

Oh,we also get the weeds, especially Dandelions and Sycamore seeds. Between being next to a park and neclecting neighbours I'm having quite a lot of wars here ;-) At least one of my current neighbours cut their grass.
And councils never do what they are suppose to....

Feel like I'm in a dream - what a beautiful approach to your home Oliveoil. You do know you're spoiling your Postman don't you?

He doesn't get to the front door Muddy, we have a letter box at the big gate, he would moan if he had to walk down the garden path. lol. we thought it would kinder for his legs. No no no not true the reason we put the letter box at the gate was because the darned dog ate the post before we got to it. lol.
