China mug with houseleek

Nice idea Kath....

I have the very mug for that!

I gave this mug as a birthday gift many years ago as he was a New years day birthday he was in hospital before he died gave I him his mug so he could drink out of it .

Sadly one of the nurses chipped the edge when washing and I said I will take it back and make a planter out of it for one of my houseleeks Jothegardens.

I would like more houseleeks but not seen them to buy.

Sempervivums are always on display with the alpines in the garden centres, ours always has masses of them.
I grow them here, i let them scramble over the rocks in the rockery.
