Love this rose the scents amazing, reblooms september time but its just soooo rampant, planted one either side of the patio window they soon surrounded that and the upstairs windows then headed for the roof!!!!!, really must move them just can't decide where too.

Its beautiful.
Kathy/Amy: do you think this or rambling rector would grow up trees.

This one will take a bit of shade Dawn, have another one growing in the wood along a fence that doesn't mind some shade 'Bobby James' very vigorous rambler, white single clusters of flowers.
Totally the wrong place for this one Amy constantly having to cut it back so loose lots of the flowers.

Maybe Bobby James could be good for me then thanks

Such a pretty Rose ... I recently planted 'Rambling Rector' and noticed first blooms today. It's to climb up and over an arbour ... sounds as though it will do the job nicely! : o )

Love this one Kathy.....I could just do with it to cover my trellis and arch. Talking about Bobbie James, I planted one this Spring in the shady part of the trellis....it's looking well, but hasn't grown much so far.
You remember you sent me seeds a couple of years ago....I've grown the Verbascums, and sent some to other members, and the white Valerian....they're really doing well....:o)

Thanks Shirley and Janey, my Bobbie James did take a couple of years to get going but now its really taking off, covered in buds, trying to train it along a fence to stop kids climbing over but it just wants to head for the trees:-), must be similar to Rambling Rector is it Amy?
So glad the seeds are doing well for you Janey, look forward to seeing your pictures:-)

It's very similar Kathy, I think yours has a nicer creamy /peachy centre , I will check when mine is in flower :o)

Rambling Rector sounds perfect.

Our Bobbie J is taking ages to get going, I do like the look of this one though.

This one was much quicker to get going DD and flowers twice, sure you could squeeze one more plant in, lol.

You know I could just do that with a little re-arranging!!
