I was moving things around my garden yesterday - as you do! and my path to nowhere has become a 'Vista' I think my water carrier looks good here. The definition of Vista is 'A pleasing view, esp. one seen through a long, narrow opening'

It does take a while Alex, it al started as a way to stop the rockery on the right from spreading any further. There is a hidden path behind that goes to my secret garden, but I cannot get through from this path.

That's lovely ... how wonderful to have a 'secret garden' too! My garden is so small that everything is on view. : o ((

My garden is not that big either ST, but do I have 8-12 ft deep beds that I can walk behind to areas that cannot be seen so it feels bigger, its also L shaped and that is were the veg and green house are with a second patio area.

Yes it takes time for the for the shrubby plants to grow Cristina but I find as they mature the garden shows you what you can do. The statue is reconstituted something? and came from a garden centre over 10 years ago I covered it in yoghurt and then kept it damp till it had some Algae/lichen on it to weather it.

Now that is a Vista, its beautiful. She looks as if she is coyly inviting you in.
The only place I could have a secret hideaway is behind the shed (no not the bikeshed,ha,ha) but then I wouldnt have a compost bin and water barrels.
Never mind can`t have it all.

Very nice. I'm planning a road to nowhere.....maybe even a "vista". It won't look as nice as yours for a few year.
