Picture taken as flower buds open. 70mph winds expected overnight. Flowers may not last long

Believe it or not they didn't. All the flowers are open now and it's gorgeous. I must remember to take a pic tomorrow

Good news ... and surprising ...
... but it isn't always easy to predict which plants are going to get wind-blown. Glad your Rhododendron is doing well... :o)
