Large, Tall Avocado Trees (Persea americana)

Some of the tallest avocado trees I've ever seen are grown in the San Francisco Bay Area. They can grow to more than 60ft/18m tall. There's many very old giant avocado trees in Mission Jose, Fremont, CA. Photo taken May 15, 2011.
