Thank you Paul
I waited a long time for the stem to come up then watched as the bud formed. Then watches as it got ready to open but less than a week of bloom the flower is nearly gone. The only way to get a bit more of enjoyment to of it is to take pics of it.
Glad you like it.

Are they Paul? I love the Lupins too, but can't get them to grow here, I don't think it's cold enough.
My Lily is all gone now, the flower fell last night. That's the thing about most flowers they don't last long at all. I think it must be all about the excitement of watching leaves come up out of the soil, then the flower stem grows and grows to about 4 feet, then the bud starts to form and the excitement grows. Out comes the flower and and the camera and in less than a week it's all over until next year. Oh well, it is what it is.
It only got one flower but then I only got the bulbs last year so maybe next year it will have more blooms. I have this one in a pot and it did really well, I have a few more in the garden, one did really well and is about to bloom, the others I think I have to move.
I think the Orchids is the only flower that last a very long time. Or does anyone know of others?
