I've just found the first flower on my Tradescantia purpurea! Really rather pleased with it!

Put a few of these in the garden last year, found one reshooting the weekend after -15 this winter, lost loads of things and a houseplant survives unbeliveble!!!

Thanks chaps!
I'm not surprised, as the owner of the small indy nursery that I got it from had been told by a couple of customers that theirs had come back (whilst making the point that he couldn't describe it as anything other than tender). Mine is in a pot though as I would like to see what I can do with it.

It has a rich colour.The one we have has greenish stripes on the upper paret of the leaf.

Yeah it grows fast and its power to regenerate after facing damage is also very appreciatable.
