Alexandramou:
Even though this plant is pretty tropical...it should grow well there in Corfu. I had a huge red flowering shrub, when I lived Mission San Jose, Fremont - San Francisco Bay Area.

Alexandramou could grow them as a summer perennial, like we do, Delonix.

Tugbrethil:
I'm sure if Corfu has bougainvillea everywhere like here...I'm sure it could be grown in Corfu, Greece as an evergreen shrub.

Could easily be...we get just enough frost most years to make it a perennial or die-back shrub, while Bougies are evergreen most years.
