Alexandramou:
I was very surprised to see these looking so good. This is definitely not the norm here.

I moved mine to the garden last fall and cut it back hard. I think I need to buy a new one and plant it somewhere with a little more shade.

Alexandramou:
In hotter summer climates these plants really prefer some shade...or a north side of a house or building.

Delonix, I have this one under the bottle brush tree. I will go dig it out later....I just thought of a fantastic spot for it. I'm still going to buy a new one.

Alexandramou:
I think that's the problem. Your hydrangea was planted under a bottlebrush. The bottlebrush will take all the hydrangea's energy (most likely).

Delonix,
It wasn't doing well in the pot I had it either. I'm moving it soon, let's see what happens.

I don't know a whole lot about Hydrangea...however, I know here they need semi-shady conditions. I'm guessing they would need the same type of conditions there.
