Heliopsis 'Sunburst Variegated'

Its Lovely Simbad, I thought it was brunnera when i looked at the thumbnail...

i like it ~ lovely leaves. be great for a flower arrangement.

Never thought of that Youngdaisy it does look very like a brunnera:-)
Well if you like it it can stay then Sticki:-), it is growing on me, maybe plant it near something with dark leaves.

Not for me, but it's an interesting twist on variegated leaves nonetheless.
It reminds me of the leaves on my Tibouchina if I water it with tap water.....

i think dark or light near it would work ~ looks like a shade lover??? a bright yellow or pink flower would look good too

Yes it is quite interesting Meanie the variegation is risen up more like blistering.
Think it would look good with my lysimachia firecracker it has small yellow flowers? no it likes a sunny spot Sticki :-)

Simbad, I have also grown this from seed this year, but it's not growing at all. I think my compost is dodgy. Just sitting there as tiny wee seedlings, not growing. Yours look great!

I've only ended up with 3 decent size ones Karen a few came up plain green so went in the compost and 2 or 3 like yours not doing much.

Disappointing, but then you only need two or three don't you. I don't really need them now, as they were for the front, which is now gravel of course. I think they are lovely, really 'different'.

They are sdtunning Kathy, I have planted bare root Heliopsis bare roots but no sign of them yet;0)

no good for me simbad ~ no sun here.
