This giant Jacaranda tree is in full bloom now. The circumference is so large it covers up 4 back yards and part of a the building below (which is two stories). This tree is located near to where I live in the Kensington District of San Diego, CA. Photo taken May 25, 2011.

Thanks! This tree is very widely grown in San Diego and throughout the low elevations of California. There's many miles of medians planted with Jacaranda where I live.

I have posted pics in the past. It's a difficult tree to photograph because of the location. I practically have to climb on the roof to get a good photo. lol! :>)
