thank you Motti, Judywolf, Michaella and Kfunsters. Pleased you like my garden, I love it too. Been weeding the fishpond side this afternoon, have been waiting for the wet weather to help me get out the couch grass and buttercups, they pull out so much easier when the ground has had rain.
Karen a bit of colour makes such a difference to our gardens doesn't it. After the rain it looks so much better and the plants were all heaving a sigh of relief.

I would worry myself silly Judywolf if I was to open to the public, don't think I could cope with it all.

That's true, must be very stressful. I watched Carol Klein a couple of years ago...'Open Gardens' ..did you see it ? Some amazing (and some embarrassingly boring !) gardens, but the work and dedication that goes into them is incredible.

Saw some of the programmes, I agree with you about dedication, it is amazing how much we all put into our gardens big or small.

You are so kind Motti, I do enjoy my walks around it I must admit. Another reason for not opening is I would never know which part of the year to open up in. Every season has something to offer and it is lovely to see it change over and over again. We had workmen a few days ago, they were impressed, it was nice to get lovely comments and it is lovely to hear everyone say how much they like it on here. Thanks for appreciating my hard work.

thank you Rose, it is nice for me too. I love my garden, I did put some before and after photos on here a while back, you maybe could see the way it has developed - I never put anything on paper, it all just jumps out and hits me whilst I sit and relax. It changes year on year, the middle border was just a small one when it started off, now it is about 4 metres wide, you can see it when you look into it, plants that were smaller on the edge, (which should be moved) are still insitu and I know exactly where it finished and now it is so much wider. lol. It will not get any bigger now, mainly because there is no more grass left to chop out. lol.
