No visit to Oxfords botanic gardens at this time of year would be complete without a shot of the Blue Jade Vine!
This is the second one.

Couldn't agree more Louise!
People dream about winning the lottery and buying a nice car or something - I'd have a huge hothouse and grow this if I won!

Oxford is on my list of places to visit this year (did it 30 years ago), so I guess we may just get to these Bot. Gardens if my knees hold out. Think I will make it two days and stay over.

Okay, so a longer stay over lol! Whose counting?? Ludlow is a great place too, tho we've been there couple times lately. Sticki, we must meet up at Hampton Court Castle some day. Id like to see the gardens again. Btw do they still allow folks in to see Chateaux Impney? I remember going there for a meal once (company paid, I couldnt afford it) but would like to see it again.

Carry on ladies!
Thanks Delonix.
Not by themselves - it wasn't until 1995 that they worked out how to do it at Kew. See the link below.........

I'm showing off now ,but I helped plant the Jade vine in the Princess of Wales Conservatory at Kew three years ago.It has romped away and is flowering beautifully.A smashing plant.

It is my favourite plant.
I'm looking forward to visiting Kew this year.
