Alfalfa tea is great for stimulating basal breaks Moti. I soak a couple of handfuls of rabbit pellet food in a big bucket of water for a few days until it makes an evil smelling liquid. Then I pour this around my roses.

Oh Gilli....I like the sound of that....Do you mean pellets that are fed to rabbits?..lol....I could buy this in the pet shop?...:>)

Yes, that's right Moti....not the pellets that come out of the rabbits!! Hee hee.
I mean those little green compressed pellets that you get at the pet shop. Over here we have 'feed stores' that sell feed for horses, goats, rabbits, sheep etc., where you can buy a BIG bag for not much money...much cheaper than the pet shop. Don't know if you have the same over there.

I dont think we have 'feed stores' Gilli......Do the green pellets have a name?...

Not that I know of Moti....Just Alfalfa pellets.
There is someone on eBay(UK) selling 100% pure alfalfa pellets with the name of ValleyViewAnimalFeeds based in Cornwall if that helps. At least it gives you a starting spot. :o)
