Rambling Rose 'snowgoose'

Thats very pretty

I've had it for about 10 years Cinderella...bought it in good old Woolworth, £1 i think it was, then....

...and a mass of buds still to come.

The flowers are smallish but the whole bush is covered in them...:>)

Thats lovely, and so many buds left to open....

The rain plays havoc with the flowers Lins....

It reminds me of a camelia flower, it certainly is pretty. I can imagine the rain affecting it as it looks very fragile..... Gorgeous!

Yes Syl...It is an Austin Rose...:>)

I ask because your picture shows the rose with a pink blush and the buds streaked in pink whereas the austin site shows pure white flowers and creamish buds. I think yours looks prettier- is it even better in the flesh?

Anyhow an Austin Rose for a £1 that is a bargain. They sell it for £13.49!

They do take on this pinkish streak sometimes Syl...It has been pure white in previous years....Maybe the very cold Winter had something to do with it....See how it goes this Summer....:>
I had a look on-line at various photos of this Rose Syl....I notice the pink stripes on the closed buds...:>)
