Yes it certainly does, it does get a bit heavy after all the rain, droops dreadfully, but then stands up again so suppose that is ok. We have not had that much to spoil it yet!

I am liking it too! it is lovely, the rain damaged the poppy a little, it is a very heavy flower head and flops after rain, will have to be better organised next year and get it a plant support - using canes at the moment to keep her propped up. lol.

I agree with Cinderella, that paleish green of the Alchimelia's foliage makes the poppy stand out really well against it. Which pink one is it?

I have no idea which one it is Jennyfer, just bought it as a pink poppy, think at a village hall sale of plants. lol.

I love these poppies. I have some in my border but while we were on holiday they all fell over onto the ground.I should have staked them. You have a lovely garden Olive.

Thank you Rose, yes that is a major problem with poppies, I forgot to stake these and they are a bit floppy, other plants are now holding them in place, must get my act together for next year.
