Welcome to GoY, Javed! :-)) What a nice entrance you have there! So many Sunflowers & so early in the year - at least for us here in the UK! Our Sunflowers are still small plants about knee high!

Sunflowers! My 3 year old is growing them this year, and I am more excited than she is. :) Love them!
Got only three, as I couldn't think of many places to grow them in our small garden. Next year, I'm going to grow more by the entrance like you did. :)

I've just this last week sown 100s of Sunflower seeds! The first have now germinated & have formed their true leaves.

I have sown both tall & mini Sunflowers saved from our own plants last year!

100s? wow! I wish I could have all of them. But if I try to grow even a tenth of it in my tiny london terrace garden, there wont be any space left for anything else! :(

@Naturelover: A few years ago I grew some on my balcony & one or two even got up to around 2m high! In fact I discovered a few days ago I have one growing in a flower pot with a Carnation! It's about 40cm high & has a flower bud! I've no idea how it got there as I've not had Sunflowers on my balcony in 3 or 4 years!

Just this past week I was thinking about doing a blog on Strawberries but perhaps I could also do one on Sunflowers & I could show you the balcony the year I grew Sunflowers! Keep an eye open during the coming week! :-))
