Bees are good Crissue, Bees are very good. lovely garden, and love the chickens too. You have got it all sorted out nicely now. Enjoy yourself in that relaxing area, no falling asleep in the sunshine though, you will burn to a crisp. lol.

Hi Olive, hope you are ok..Yes I agree the Bees are good, I said to H, how good it is this year we've managed to encourage lots more Bees and especially Butterflies, so somethings going good...Glad you like the Chicken arrangement, it's so important to get the balance right for the animals...Hubs had so much to do when we moved here three years ago, as I was very poorly, he did the best he could under the circumstances...but we always felt we wanted bigger housing especially, for the chooks, and easy access for this poor old soul, :o) lol ...It's all coming together nicely.

It certainly is Crissue, I am well - tired and aching from too much gardening, but well - enjoy the good weather, we could do with some rain again, think we might get a shower Wednesday, but not much forecast for this area.

Oooh this is a lovely area Crissue, Love the mushrooms, I was just looking at some on Ebay last night, are yours reclaimed?

Hi Youngdaisy, The Mushroom, is called a Staddle, they were used and still are as far as I am aware on the I.O.W. and other Farms, to hold up the Barns that store Hay/Straw, the stories go that it prevented rats and mice from getting in..mine is a replica probably 20 years old but from a G centre on the Island, the real ones are huge, and heavy..lol..the other is a very old Bird bath donated to me by my blind elderly next door neighbour from the Island, goodness knows how old it is, but I love it..it always brings Jenny to mind, and she did have a wonderful life before an accident took her sight away...but she was a character even so...Thanks for bringing such wonderful memories back for a while...You see what gardening does for our soul...
