Some of sheffield suffered a heavy hail storm. The tulips were in full flower. After 30 minutes of hail they were shredded.

You do have beautiful stakes. Are they special? We have green bamboo, (maybe fake). They tend to break and have sharp ends. And hail in summer, we have it too. Sometimes as big as tennis balls. Wreckage in the garden.
