Absolutely stunning!

this is gorgeous. i have this but after 2 years it has 1 bud that is about the size of a marble!!! what do i need to do to make it better?

This is the photo I took at Chelsea so there are probably three or four big plants all tucked in together. The one I bought did have 4 super blooms though. I picked the best one I could find. I am no expert on these but I think they can be slow to get going and take a few years to be at their best. The one I bought was in a 10 litre pot so was quite a mature plant.

it was in flower when i bought it ~ not as big as a 10 litre pot tho. i always pick the best one i can find, sounds as if yours started off bigger than mine tho ~ perhaps thats what i should have done.

Have had this plant for several years - last year was the first time it flowered. Think they take a while to 'settle'. I read somewhere that they don't like to be moved, and react by not flowering for several seasons. Now that mine has flowered once, it seems to like where I planted it, and has three buds this year.

Oh I bought this from The Vicarage Botanical Gardens near Cristina. I hope it flowers like this next year :O)
