Houttuynia 'Cameleon'

Very rampant, not advisable to grow in the garden, our is in our pond in a planter...bears tiny white flowers this time of year, doesn't smell very nice though...

Got this, 2 of them, they are about 4 yrs old, they have not spread very much, however, I have it in my old garden, it did spread like mad quite quickly, maybe because there are too many other plants around them here.. oh yes, I am not keen on the smell either, I tend to get instant headache...but I love this plant.

As pretty as this plant can look - never again its spreads underground and is the devil to get rid of.

Yes this is a very pretty plant, but not what it seems, it is very invasive, smells awful..but loves water, and does well in our pond...we even left the pot in the water overwinter, mainly for the fish to hide behind, and come early spring it started to pop through again...
