Thank you girls .. this one is amongst the shrubs Dawn it seems happy there I give it a good prune at the end of summer .. :-)

Thanks Amy, I've been reading about the conditions roses like and apparently if you give them room they are happy in the herbaceous border, you have confirmed that.

It's approx 3/4 ft tall Kat it's quite shrubby I do trim it when it gets straggly .......

This has tiny thorns that grab at you Kat and sharp prickles at the base of each leaf !
