Love your new house, is it timber built and how long have you been there now?

been here now a year this january past..couldn't do anything with the yard last summer..it was a mess..the sod was put in last august, the ground has settled with the snow this past winter so now a fence is being worked on this summer..PP, i will really be studying your photos and picking your brain for ideas later this fall/next spring...get ready! lol
what do you mean by timber built?????? hmmm...

Is the frame of your home built from wood, just looks like the outer section is is cladded with timber boards, my friend has moved to the Scottish Highlands and her home is Timber built as opposed to the "norm" here of bricks and mortar! just think it looks much more attractive;0)

yes, it is built with wood, like pretty much all of the houses here. i do like the look of clapboard on a house much better, but the upkeep can be time consuming..my house has all vinyl siding..the trim is a beigy color. i have since stained my patio and veranda a green hue.
