Amy this is the one from the mixed seed I was telling you about, do you think it looks the same as yours?, or is the leaf different? this gets to around 2ft.

Just had a look Drc and sure you're right, especially as the picture I saw of Amy's was 'Purple Rain' too, quite a few of Spritz's pictures of it on there, thankyou going to rename it now:-)

Goodness, your lychnis quite short! Mine's at least 3ft tall and still growing! Can we swap?

Im still growing the seeds on you sent me last year, but its a raging battle with slugs, I do have a few fighting on, will post a picture as i can't remember what the names are;0)

I like it growing with the lychnis, what have you been feeding yours on Tet? as it is 3ft tall lol

So many salvias, aren't there, cant wait for mine to start flowering.

The lychnis does sometimes get a little bigger than this Tetrarch but not 3ft must be our heavy clay and lack of rain, although we did have lots yeaterday :-))))

Flippin slugs are a pain Carole I had one in the greenhouse,( well a huge snail actually)eating all my seedlings, hunted it down though,:-)))
They are lovely aren't they Dawn, got so many varieties from.... yes you've guessed it Plantworld mixed seed:-)))

It does look like any of mine Simbad but Spritzhenry grows a lot to and the leaf, flower and height looks like it might be Salvia vercillicata 'Purple Rain? Its on Goypeadia 'Salvias' page.
