Reclaimed Fence Posts

I had this notion that these posts would make a feature, so either as climbing posts, or a bracket attached for a basket or two, perhaps, all suggestions welcome.

Either of those suggestions would be fine I think.

I have seen heavy ropes hung between posts like this and a clematis then grows across them. I looked on the net and this company has a photo of a similar idea www.ropeloft.co.uk

Hi Crissue last night a new member posted a photo of a Pink Clematis on post and swags (ropes) and I thought of you.

In Vermont, one sees various posts wrapped around with
all sorts of objects, special to them etc. i am not sure some
are always effective. But i did see a knitting shop with all
kinds of different color swatches. will try to get a photo to post. I actually like your posts as they are. they point up your garden and give it height.
