This pic is making my skin crawl a little, but nice photo. I've never seen such a sight! Imagine running into that...yikes!

Hahah...small world...I saw a nest like that on plants in a perennial greenhouse at the nursery... They looked like tiny gold nuggets...all bunched together near the base of the web...and up on the main they looked like miniature cable cars running back and forth! lovely creatures...

I, too have been watching a nest of little spiders outside my kitchen window. I love watching them and love the good they do. My husband hates them, probably a product of growing up in Southern California where there are some real biters.

I'm content with my Garden Cross spider hanging in my garage.
