So do I, but I do not have so beautiful roses. Is this AustinĀ“s rose?
16 Oct, 2011
Hi Katrina, no, this is not a David Austin rose, it was bred by James Booth in Germany in 1816.

Muddy, I noticed you are colecting old roses. Can you recommend the centre? Where did you buy them. Some of them are already hard to get.

Hi Katrina, I first saw (and smelt) my roses, in the beautiful garden at 'Cottage Garden Roses' in Staffordshire - sadly they are no longer in business.
You are right that you don't see many of these roses in Garden Centres, but I was able to order all the roses from David Austin and they were delivered bare-rooted during the Winter.

Do you think they deliver them also to the Continent? I think I have DA webpage somewhere.

Yes Katarina, it says in the David Austin 'Handbook' that they export most varieties of Roses to EU and some non-EU countries. Do you have some favourites? :-)
