I have to keep this in a pot, and over-winter it in the greenhouse. I think it's worth it, though. I love the colour.

Yes, I'm afraid so. I fell for it three years ago, planted it in the border, then spotted it looking very sad indeed after a cold spell. I potted it up and gave it some TLC. It comes out every summer. :-)

Scottish, that makes a change! Usually when I post a photo, people go and spend money. LOL.
Pp - it's quite small, as it's in a pot. Not terribly exciting, but I've added the pot to a group of other pots, so that looks better. I don't know if I can get a good photo of the group - I could try. :-)

It's not that I don't want to spend the money...I don't have a greenhouse. I don't particularly like plants in the house I love them outdoors though :-))

I don't think most outdoor plants like it indoors, do they. Not unless you have a porch or something like that?

I don't have a porch and my only option to keep anything that wasn't hardy would be somewhere in the house and with the heat generated by the family turning the heating up full etc nothing except tropical pants would survive that...lol!!!

I love these red hydrangeas. Spritz...do you keep in pot and greenhouse because they aren't hardy?
