For Karen...

For Karen... (Eryngium miss wilmotts ghost.)

This is how it should look as this one is growing in full sun, whereas the other eryngium is in heavy shade, seeded itself.

Oh yes! That is stunning. I can't believe it, I do not like these, never have, and now I'm really loving them!

I need to get one, love them. If this seeded Dotty, it might be worth growing some from seed, think I'll give it a go.

Stunning aren't they Dotty, I've always liked them but never had one. Do you have any of these that I've been looking at: ERYNGIUM GIGANTEUM 'SILVER GHOST', ERYNGIUM PLANUM, ERYNGIUM BOURGATII.
Which variety do you like best on your collection?

I did try one last year, but I think it knew I didn't like it.....it just died! Then I saw one at Chelsea...incredible bright blue...'alpinum 'Blue Star' and that's when my 'attitude' changed! I'll just put up a pic of it for you DD...hang on a minute.....

I used to have a very large one in my old garden, it looked metallic in the sunlight. I could maybe fit a smaller one in here.
