Ok will send some as soon as they are dry. They are amazing colours, would you like some of the other colours also? or just the dark purple ones.

I like your wasp trap mum, does it do the job well?

Well it catches a lot of flies not too many wasps, but somehow we have not got a lot of hassel with wasps, we do get the very big hornets and lots of bees all kinds of them, but wasps are not a major problem. We did have wasps nest in the bank side a few years back and a friend of ours came and cleared it with some powder stuff. After saying that Sam got stung yesterday with something or bitten and her foot is a right mess. If you buy a trap do not get the ones with a cork in the top, there are some good plastic ones with screw caps they are the best ones, the corks just rot, this one had cork and now it has cling film to cover it over.

Blimey, poor Sammie. No, we don't have too many usually either. I do like the look of this though, it's pretty. Thanks for info. Hornets? Yuck! Never seen one here, though Callum says he's seen one at the Ranch.

they are really big, you can see them from a long way off, very very pretty colours, orange and brown, I like to see them flying around, but would not like to be near enough for one to sting, there needles look as if they would be a bit sharp. lol. We had one last year in the house, you should have seen the panic on Paul and Sammies faces, they shut themselves up in the room. I had to do the big brave thing and get rid of it, all I did was switch the outside light on and put the house lights off and it flew out, they are a pair of scardey cats. I suppose if I saw a snake I should be the same. Sam held a snake the other day and she was telling me all about it and my skin was crawling, I hate snakes. Can you remember when you were really young we went to Skegness on a trip you Mark and me and we went and looked at some snakes and the man threw a rubber snake for me to catch, only I thought it was a real one, I wonder if you can remember that. I shall never forget it. I cringe when I think about it even now. lol

All I remember about that trip is the rain and playing cards! I do have a vague memory of you catching a 'snake' but it's not really a memory. I held a snake a few years ago, I have a friend who'se husband used to keep two or three snakes, but I believe they are gone now. It was a lovely sensation actually, very dry and warm and it was so strong, just a long thin muscle really! But I wouldn't want to encounter one in my garden!

That is just what sam said about her holding the snake, nothing like what she had imagined. Still would not do it!!
