We are having heavy showers here and it's quite cold, so much for summer :o((

Annella it is bucketing it down at the moment, and all my washing was out on the line (still is) it came down too hard to get out there and get it in. It will be soaking wet now. Ah well the garden needed the water. We cannot win can we?

Just been and cut the grass it has absolutely thrown it down here, thought I would not be able to get it cut, but it has done it and it always looks much better for a trim. Thank you Whdebor glad you like the view. I love it, but there you go I am biased. lol.

Lovely photo - I'd love this as a jigsaw puzzle to do in the Winter evenings! We've had a rotten day weather-wise, howling wind, showers of rain, but it's glorious sunshine now (6pm). I've had to cut about a third off a Buddleia as it was rocking dangerously in the wind. : o ((

Rain stopped and now it is just very cool, cloudy and miserable. Washing still on line soaking wet and that is where it is staying now, it is wetter than when I put it out. lol. Good job we do not have neighbours.

We've had the same day as you...and I managed to get my grass cut too, but the borders are flooded again! :(

The biggest bare patch in front of the greenhouse is now filled in with the new seed. There are still a couple of bare patches that I need to reseed after I pulled out all the dead stuff. About 50% of the grass hasn't grown enough to get a cut on the highest setting yet this year, so every time the good grass grows it looks awful, but not as bad once I've cut it! We will have to address the drainage, and I've found a local tool hire firm that has an electric hole puncher, just have to find time to do it next!

Everything is soggy boggy here after all the rain again, but hopefully things will get better in a couple of weeks when Scott comes off on holiday, or else he will drag me off somewhere abroad again....hate going away in the summer time...moan, moan, moan! Most people would be chuffed to get away for a holiday wouldn't they....I am so weird!! lol

You miss your garden when you are away I know all about that! I hate going away, much rather do day trips, always have done, but I should have missed out on such fun if I had not taken the girls off for a holiday. We had so much fun and saw so many things and laughed so much.

Keeps coming out here also Hywel, then a big black cloud goes over and blocks it out. I am hoping for some sunshine this weekend, mainly because I have a six a-side cricket competition to cater for on Sunday, doing them a bbq and also cricket teas on Saturday. I love my cricket good job really. So extremely busy weekend, must go and do some baking now they are very hungry cricketers when they get going - lol.
