Tree Stump

Tree Stump

This huge tree stump was starting to rot away this year, so I dug out quite a large hole, filled it with compost and planted this petunia, grown from a plug plant. It seems to be thriving, anyway! The tree had been cut down years ago by a previous owner, according to the neighbours, and is right on the edge of our patio.

That must be one of the most unusual "planters" I have ever seen - I like it.

It's certainly different and the petunia seems to be doing OK.

Looks very pretty Annie, I turned our old plumtree stump into a planter, its good what one can do with a bit of ingenuity...
