If it wasn't for the tail these would be our smallest native bird i think. They are lovely.

Don't know if you have them in Ireland but they're reasonably common around here.They are always in a group of up to 10 but they don't hang around for long.

i looked it up, seems they are common over here although rarely seen except by walkers in the countryside

Your rite about them flying in Groups Poppeymike iv had 10 or more in a tree @1time & they really are fast cos once theyv all landed their away again lol :)
