White Water Lilies

We have had a dry spell and you can see the high water mark of the pine pollen (yellow band) on the rocks...we're getting lots of lovely rain today...much needed.

This is a lovely little swamp in the middle of nowhere, D1. The white lilies are the only vegetation in the pond proper...there are grasses and reeds along the margin. Just a gem. couldn't resist taking a whole series of pics.
